Jefferson County GOP Needs Your Help with the State Fair Booth
Dear Friends,
As the newly elected Jefferson County Republican Chairman, I would first like to thank you for your dedication to our party. With Senators John McCain and Mitch McConnell at the top of our ticket and strong Congressional candidates in each of our six districts, this could very well prove to be a banner year for the Republican Party in Kentucky. Our vision of fiscal responsibility, conservative values, strong national defense and promoting individual responsibility resonates with the citizens of Kentucky and it is our duty to make sure that message is heard.
In Jefferson County, we are coming together like never before recently holding a countywide picnic that drew 300 people, many who have never been seen before at party events. We plan to seize on that momentum by taking the lead on organizing the GOP State Fair Booth this year from August 14-24. Since there will be plenty of misguided excitement for Barack Obama, it is as important as ever that we have a strong presence at the fairgrounds this year.
While many of the volunteers will come from Jefferson County, State Party Chairman Steve Robertson and I would also like to invite Republicans from across the state to sign up and help run the fair booth. We will be promoting our candidates, giving people the opportunity to volunteer for campaigns and registering Kentuckians to vote. I have assigned Aaron Wilson, one of our strong Young Republican leaders, to take charge of organizing our volunteer schedule. We are blessed to have such strong leadership across the state and our candidates this year are top shelf quality. They deserve our hard work and dedication to our cause. If your schedule allows, Steve and I ask that you please take a moment to commit to helping the GOP at the State Fair this year.
