President George W. Bush
George W. Bush is the 43rd President of the United States. He was sworn into office on January 20, 2001, re-elected on November 2, 2004, and sworn in for a second term on January 20, 2005. Prior to his Presidency, President Bush served for 6 years as the 46th Governor of the State of Texas, where he earned a reputation for bipartisanship and as a compassionate conservative who shaped public policy based on the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and local control.
President Bush is married to Laura Welch Bush, a former teacher and librarian, and they have twin daughters, Barbara and Jenna. The Bush family also includes two dogs, Barney and Miss Beazley, and a cat, Willie.

Vice-President Dick Cheney
Vice President Richard B. Cheney has had a distinguished career as a businessman and public servant, serving four Presidents and as an elected official. Throughout his service, Mr. Cheney served with duty, honor, and unwavering leadership, gaining him the respect of the American people during trying military times.
Mr. Cheney was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 30, 1941 and grew up in Casper, Wyoming. He earned his bachelor's and master's of arts degrees from the University of Wyoming. His career in public service began in 1969 when he joined the Nixon Administration, serving in a number of positions at the Cost of Living Council, at the Office of Economic Opportunity, and within the White House. He went on to serve as White House Chief of Staff under President Ford, Secretary of Defense under President Bush and Congressman from the state of Wyoming.

U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell
U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell currently serves as the Senate Republican leader in the 110th Congress. He previously served as the Majority Whip in the 108th and 109th Congresses. McConnell also served in leadership as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the 1998 and 2000 election cycles.
McConnell was first elected to the Senate in 1984, the first Republican to win a statewide race in Kentucky since 1968. On June 27, 2005, McConnell became the longest-serving Republican Senator from Kentucky, again breaking a record previously held by John Sherman Cooper.
Prior to his election, McConnell served as chief legislative assistant to Senator Marlow Cook and deputy assistant attorney general under President Ford. McConnell served as County Judge-Executive in Jefferson County, Kentucky, from 1978 until he was sworn in to the Senate on January 3, 1985.
Senator McConnell is married to United States Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao.He is the proud father of three daughters.

U.S. Senator Jim Bunning
Currently servinc his second term, Bunning was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1998. Prior to that, he served 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, 8 years in the Kentucky State Senate and a term on the Fort Thomas City Council
Senator Bunning is equally as famous for his baseball career. Pitching primarily for the Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies, Bunning accumulated a record of achievement that eventually won him a seat in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
Senator Bunning is married to Mary Bunning. Together, they raised nine children and have 35 grandchildren. Jim and Mary make their home in Southgate, Kentucky and are active members of the St. Therese Catholic Church in Southgate, Kentucky.

Congressman Geoff Davis (4th District)
Elected in November 2004, Congressman Geoff Davis represents Kentucky’s 4th District, which is composed of 24 counties in the northern Kentucky. The district borders West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana. He currently serves in leadership as a House Republican Deputy Whip.
A West Point graduate, Davis served as an Assault Helicopter Flight Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division and later served in the Middle East where he ran U.S. Army aviation operations for peace enforcement between Israel and Egypt. Davis is a former Army Ranger and Senior Parachutist.
In 1992, Davis started his own consulting firm specializing in lean manufacturing and high technology systems integration. The firm earned the respect of CEOs and competitors alike in its twelve years in operation.
He and his wife Pat reside in Hebron, Kentucky, with their six children.

Secretary of State Trey Grayson
Currently serving his second term, Grayson was first elected in 2003. Since taking office, he has quickly become a national leader in elections, civics, business services and government innovation. Secretary Grayson's colleagues have asked him to serve in a variety of prominent national leadership positions, most notably as Chairman of the Republican Association of Secretaries of State and as Treasurer of the National Association of Secretaries of State where he also sits on the executive committee.
Prior to his election, he was an attorney with Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald and Keating, Muething & Klekamp, where he focused on estate planning and corporate law.
Grayson is married to the former Nancy Humphrey of Lexington. The Graysons currently reside in Boone County with their two daughters, Alex and Kate.

Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer
Currently serving his second term, Farmer was elected Kentucky's Commissioner of Agriculture in 2003.
A native of Clay County, Commissioner Farmer worked as an investment advisor prior to his election. He lives in Frankfort with his wife Rebecca and their three sons, Trey, Thomas and Tate. A 1992 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Commissioner Farmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management. He was also a standout player for the UK basketball Wildcats under Coach Rick Pitino.

State Senator Damon Thayer
Currently serving his second term, Thayer was first elected to the Kentucky State Senate in a special election in 2003. He is the first Scott County Republican to ever serve in the Kentucky General Assembly and currently serves as Chairman of the Senate State and Local Government Committee.
After eight years with Breeders' Cup Ltd., Thayer formed Thayer Communications and Consulting LLC in 2007. Politically, he has served as the 4th Congressional District Republican Chairman and as Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Kentucky for five years.
Senator Thayer, his wife Carrie and children Daniel and Katie live in Georgetown.

Mayor Karen Tingle-Sames
Currently serving in her first term as Mayor, Karen Tingle-Sames previously served three terms on the Georgetown City Council. Karen is a lifelong resident of Georgetown and 1986 graduate of Georgetown College. Holding a Kentucky Masters in floral design, Karen has worked at her family's florist and gift shop, The Carriage House, since 1971. A member of Victory Life Church, Karen lives with her husband Kevin and Daisy, their three year old champion Weimeramer.

Commissioner Claude Christensen
Claude was appointed to the Sadieville City Commission in October 2005, and subsequently elected to a full term in November, 2006. He was elected Mayor Pro Tem in January, 2007. In addition to his duties as Sadieville's Public Works Commissioner, he serves Scott County on the Blue Grass Area Development District Transportation Advisory Committee and Water Management Board, and on the Scott County Solid Waste Advisory and on the Scott County Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
Claude is a retired federal executive having served as Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief Enterprise Architect for the Peace Corps and in various technical and senior management positions within the Department of the Interior including Agency Data Administrator and Senior Technical Advisor to the Secretary of the Interior. He is also a veteran having served for seven years in the U.S. Air Force.
He holds degrees in Geology and Land Use and completed senior management training programs at the federal level. He and his wife Sandra have three grown children and enjoy the rustic country living available in and around Sadieville.
